Undergraduate Program in Audiology
The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in audiology. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. The Audiology Department seeks to train individuals with sufficient knowledge and skills about auditory health, diseases of ear, and inner ear-induced vertigo and balance disorders who can apply diagnostic and rehabilitative techniques in an optimum fashion; can plan and conduct the early diagnosis and auditory rehabilitation of auditory loss; and also can plan and conduct the diagnostic evaluation and rehabilitation programs for inner ear-induced vertigo and balance disorders; who are respectful to human rights and have developed social responsibility awareness. Alumni of the program can work in hospitals, universities, special education and rehabilitation centers.
In the program, basic medical courses and professional courses are offered to the student from the first year. Starting from the second year, students are also given practice lessons in the department’s application laboratories. Internship opportunities are offered in public and private health institutions and hearing aid and/or cochlear implant application centers in 3rd and 4th grade. The department offers a dynamic and up-to-date curriculum that includes theoretical and practical courses and requires active participation of the student.

The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in healthcare management. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. The program aims to train professional healthcare managers with good problem-solving skills who can improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of healthcare services and produce services using modern technological instruments and management techniques. The department offers a comprehensive curriculum which covers a wide variety of areas such as management of hospitals and healthcare institutions, healthcare policies, health economy, health law, information systems, human resources management, strategical management, accounting, financial management, quantitative techniques, health tourism, healthcare marketing, and comparative healthcare systems.
Students who have successfully completed and graduated from the program have the potential for employment as managers who are in charge of administrative, financial and technical affairs in a wide range of service areas in healthcare sector, chiefly in hospitals and various public and private healthcare institutions and organizations.

The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in nursing. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. The Department has adopted a student-centered approach oriented toward scientific problem-solving, research and learning with a holistic view of healthcare. Hence, the main objective of training in the program is to help students acquire required knowledge and skills in the fundamental areas of nursing as prescribed by international standards, national law, regulations, and requirements. Students are trained with the ability to provide quality services in the light of human-first healthcare approach, the principles of patient and employee safety, and advanced technologies.
Program alumni are employed in public and private hospitals, family health centers, community health centers, workplaces, schools, nursing homes, nursing homes, medical companies, and insurance companies. They may also pursue academic careers through master’s and PhD programs in nursing and healthcare.

The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in nutrition and dietetics. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. Dietitians are health professionals who work for raising social awareness about adequate and well-balanced diet, identifying dietary needs, determining and generating solutions to nutritional problems and priorities, and identifying nutritional policies. The Nutrition and Dietetics program aims to train dietitians who possess the qualifications based on national and international standards seeking to protect and improve health and life and to enhance longevity and quality of life and are respectful toward national and global culture.
Program alumni can work in both public and private hospitals, family health centers, community health centers, institutions who receive catering services, nursing homes, counseling centers, universities, and food industry. They may also pursue graduate studies and can be employed in academic fields.

The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in social work. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. Social Work Department is a human- and society-oriented department whose main aim is to ensure, restore, maintain, and consolidate psycho-social functionality by improving the problem-solving and coping capacities of individuals, families, groups and society at large. In line with these objectives, through an interdisciplinary education and internship process, students acquire awareness about real-life social problems and gain the ability to inquire and analyze social problems and to generate and apply solutions to these problems.
The program seeks to train its students as specialists possessing the competence and knowledge required to help solving individual and social problems. Alumni of the program are employed as specialists, managers, planners, researchers, and executives in institutions run by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice etc., in local government, healthcare institutions, and non-governmental organizations.
