Undergraduate Program in Dentistry
The Faculty of Dentistry is located in Orhanlı Campus in Tuzla and actively offers a 5-year undergraduate program in dentistry, which covers both theoretical and practical education. The language of instruction is Turkish. In the first two years of vocational training, students take pre-clinical practice courses that improve their professional skills, as well as basic medical sciences and dentistry courses. In the last three years of professional education, the training continues within the scope of dentistry and clinical practice courses. With the new arrangement, students who entered the clinic as of the 3rd grade have had the opportunity to perform more clinical applications in dentistry, where practical experience is very important.
Throughout their education in dentistry, our students are trained under the direct supervision and guidance of our faculty members to learn to practice the profession in the best way. Soon, from their third year onwards, the students will be starting their internship to work side by side with the professors to treat patients in our state-of-the-art Dentistry Hospital located in the same building where they receive all their training.
