Undergraduate Program in Guidance and Psychological Counseling
The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in guidance and psychological counseling (GPC). The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. The program aims to train professionals who have acquired sound theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the discipline; are sensitive to people’s well-being; have the ability to conceptualize human life as a development process; have respect for individual and social differences; are inquisitive and understanding; and can accommodate professional development with individual development so that they can offer guidance and psychological counseling services in various areas that require these services.
The department seeks to train its students as individuals with adequate scientific competence who can offer solutions to the problems of individuals who find it difficult to cope with the problems of daily life in an increasingly complex modern life and do not just limit themselves to educational institutions but can provide psychological support wherever there are individuals who suffer from adaptation and developmental problems.

Undergraduate Program in Elementary Mathematics Education
The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in mathematics education. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. The Department aims to pave the way for teacher candidates to become resourceful teachers through compulsory and elective courses. The teacher candidates are expected to improve their practice through community service practices, have the background to carry out action research via projects, and become ready to teach by observing and giving courses to different levels of students through school experiences courses.
Alumni of the program can primarily work as secondary school mathematics teachers in public and private schools. They also have the opportunity to continue graduate education at national and international universities.

Undergraduate Program in Turkish Language Teaching
The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in Turkish language teaching. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. The main purpose the program is to train Turkish teachers and Turkish education scientists who read, think, criticize, question, evaluate, produce, and aim to continue their professional development lifelong. In line with this aim, a qualified education program integrated with field education, educational sciences and general culture lessons is pursued.
The Department attaches importance to raising students as both teachers who are well aware of the rich legacy of Turkish language and literature and who have a fine taste of language and literary aesthetics and also as researchers who aim for graduate studies. In addition, it conducts education and research activities on teaching foreigners Turkish, which is among the most widely spoken languages in the world, and offers a separate quota for foreign students.

Undergraduate Program in English Language Teaching
The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in English language teaching. English Language Teaching undergraduate program aims to provide its students with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of foreign language teaching and, through a wide range of courses that includes vocational knowledge and field knowledge, together with other elective courses; and to support and guide teacher candidates to be competent, preferred and qualified English teachers who can use educational technologies effectively in order to meet today’s needs. In the 4-year program, teacher candidates will be provided with compulsory and elective courses such as Applied Linguistics, Language Acquisition, Approaches and Methods in Language Teaching, Teaching English to Young Learners, and Testing and Assessment. Candidates are expected to develop their own practices within the scope of community service practices, have the background to do action research via projects, and become ready to teach by observing and giving courses to different levels of students.

Undergraduate Program in Preschool Education
The Department is located in Cevizli Campus in Kartal and actively offers a 4-year undergraduate program in preschool education. The language of instruction in the program is Turkish. The program has been admitting students since 2018-2019 academic year.
Preschool is a period when people gain important skills related to life and have a high level of interest and desire for learning. In order to train qualified preschool teachers, our Preschool Education Program attaches importance to pre-service teachers to be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and values, to learn how to learn during their education and to continuously improve in their professional development. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to increase the quality of education under the leadership of pre-school teachers, who are the practitioners of curricula and are among the basic constituents of education.
